Castellón Fine Arts Museum

The Museum is located in the centre of Castellón. Its showcases display a very complete exhibition on the different historical periods of the province of Castellón.

Benicarló City Museum

Located in the former Franciscan convent of the town, the museum shows materials coming from the site of el Puig de la Nau in Benicarló.

Guided visits of the site of El Puig de la Nau can be arranged.

Tuesday to Friday: 09.00 - 14.00 and 17.00 – 20.00.
Saturday: 10.00 - 13.00. and 17.00 – 20.00.
Sunday: 10.30 - 13:30.

Museum of la Valltorta

The Museum of la Valltorta, located in the town of Tirig, 500 m. from Barranc de la Valltorta and very close to the population centre of los abrigos con pinturas (shelters with cave paintings), works as a Visiting Centre for the Parc Cultural Valltorta-Gasulla. The museum is very active in the field of conservation, studies and diffusion of Cave Art, not only for the spaces dedicated to work such as laboratories and library for its Rooms where you can discover the Cave Art of the province of Castellón and the Valencia Community.

Both the access to the museum and the visit to the shelters of la Vallorta, which feature cave paintings, are free.

Segorbe Archaeological and Ethnological Museum

Located in the centre of Segorbe, this museum shows archaeological materials coming from the region of Alto Palancia. Nowadays, in that area, there are no sites available for visit. Therefore, the Museum can give a good approach of the archaeological heritage.

Borriana Archaeological Local Museum

Located in La Mercé cultural centre, the Museum shows archaeological materials coming from different sites of the districts of La Plana.

Alcora Ceramic Museum

With 800 m2 of fully accessible exhibition, l’Alcora Ceramic Museum is an excellent place to discover the history of ceramic through its collections and its participatory activities. The rooms feature nearly 1.000 pieces arranged in three permanent exhibitions.
